Frequently Asked Questions

All NDIS participants or potential participants who live in Australia are eligible to obtain our services.
01. How do I apply?
Simply give us a call or email us and we'll organise a chat.
02. How much does it cost?
Not a cent! Simply contact the NDIS and request for Plan Manager funding to be added to your plan.

The NDIS allocates additional funding to your plan to pay for the Plan Management services.
03. Do I have to use registered providers?
No. By opting for plan management, participants can certainly choose providers who aren't registered with the NDIA, which can be particularly useful if you have established relationships with certain professionals or support workers who aren't NDIS-registered.

To summarise:

Flexibility with Providers: If you're plan-managed, you can use non-registered providers, including therapists like psychologists or occupational therapists who might not be NDIS registered.

Support Workers: This flexibility also extends to support workers, so you can continue using current helpers, such as cleaners or carers, and they can be paid through your NDIS funding.

This option can make the transition to NDIS funding smoother and maintain continuity with trusted services. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask us!
04. How will I get reimbursed for something I've paid for?
Our mission is to provide same day reimbursements for anything you pay for.

Simply email your receipt to hello@psrpm.com.au with the following information:

1. 'Reimbursement' in the subject line

2. Copy of receipt

3. Description of items or service if not clear on the receipt

4. Your bank account details.

5. Total to be reimbursed
05. How long will it take to pay my providers?
We pride ourselves on prompt payments and most payments are paid within 2 business days from invoice submission. If there are any delays we will let you and the provider know why.
06. What are the ways I can manage my plan?
There are four different methods of managing your NDIS plan and each offers different levels of flexibility and control.

Here’s a brief overview of each:

NDIA Managed:

What It Is: The NDIA manages your funding and pays your service providers directly.

Pros: Simple and hands-off for you. You don’t need to handle the financial side or manage invoices.

Cons: Limited choice of providers as only registered providers can be used.

Self Managed:

What It Is: You manage your own funding, including paying providers and keeping track of expenses.

Pros: Maximum flexibility in choosing providers, including those not registered with the NDIA. You also have control over your budget.

Cons: Requires more time and effort to manage payments, track expenses, and ensure compliance with NDIS rules.

Plan Managed:

What It Is: A plan manager is appointed to handle financial aspects of your plan, including paying providers and managing invoices.

Pros: Flexibility to choose both registered and unregistered providers. You still have control over your plan while leaving the financial management to someone else.

Cons: None.

Combination of Plan and Self Managed:

What It Is: A mix of self-management and plan management. You might self-manage part of your budget while using a plan manager for other aspects.

Pros: Allows for a tailored approach where you can manage parts of your plan yourself and use a plan manager for other parts, balancing flexibility and support.

Cons: Requires understanding and managing both self-managed and plan-managed components.

Choosing the right option depends on your needs, preferences, and the level of control you want over your NDIS funding. If you have any more questions or need help deciding which method might be best for you, feel free to ask!
